SHARC.jpg (45209 bytes) This is the SHARC Building.

All SHL financial matters other than those handled by FHL go through this building. If you have money to invest, or if you are in need of a loan, see the SHARC.

The regulations concerning transferring funds to or from your SHL accounts are outlined here.

The SHARC has been set up to give the GM a way to put idle cash to use, and to give the struggling GM a chance to survive.

SHARC is an acronym for Surreal Hockey Account Replenishment Commission.

All transactions with the SHARC will be kept private. The only way another GM will know you have dealt with the SHARC, is if he notices your account balance on the FHL Finances page changing unusually, or if you tell him.

Terms for Investors:

You may open an account with the SHARC and deposit any amount in million dollar increments starting at $5,000,000. Subsequent deposits may be made in million dollar increments starting at $1,000,000.
These accounts will accrue interest at a rate of 5% APR, paid monthly. Dividends will also be paid to accounts from the interest collected on outstanding loans and other fees. Each account's percentage of total SHARC holdings will be paid that same percentage of the collected interest and fees.
Withdrawls from your account will be subject to a 10% handling fee, subtracted from your remaining balance. If the remaining balance is not sufficient to cover the fee, or if the account is closed, the fee will be deducted from the withdrawl.

Terms for the Borrower:

Loans from the SHARC may be requested in million dollar increments starting at $5,000,000. Repayment is expected weekly and will be deducted from your SHL account. If your SHL account can not cover the payment, you will be contacted by the SHARC.
Interest on loans is set at 8% APR calculated weekly.
The length of the loan is to be determined by the amount borrowed, and the repayment amount, up to 52 weeks.
There is no pre-payment penalty.
A one time loan fee of $50,000 will be deducted from the loan amount prior to transfer.
You may borrow from the SHARC even if you have an outstanding loan, but this is only available once during the life of the loan.
